Ukrainian Financial Housing Company (UFHC) and Nippon Export and Investment Insurance (NEXI) have signed a Memorandum of Understanding for Enhancement of Cooperation (MOU) during the Japan–Ukraine Economic Reconstruction Promotion Forum held in Tokyo.
The official signing ceremony took place at NEXI’s head office on 3 September and was attended by Mr. Ievgen Metsger, Chairman of UFHC, and Mr. Atsuo Kuroda, Chairman and CEO of NEXI, coinciding with UFHC’s official visit to Japan. The MOU marks an important step in strengthening bilateral cooperation to support Ukraine’s housing sector and expand access to affordable housing for Ukrainian citizens.
Since its establishment, UFHC has actively worked to ensure citizens have access to safe and affordable housing, developing state mortgage program yeOselia and other initiatives. The partnership with NEXI is expected to advance these efforts by exploring innovative cooperation opportunities in housing finance in Ukraine which are now one of the country’s key priorities.
Through this collaboration, UFHC and NEXI aim to enhance technical cooperation and share expertise to accelerate Ukraine’s housing recovery and contribute to the broader economic reconstruction of the country.
