Japan’s Foresight highlights Ukraine’s housing finance strategy and yeOselia program

One of Japan’s most influential analytical publications — Foresight (Shinchosha) — has featured the Ukrainian Financial Housing Company (UFHC) and the eOselia mortgage program in a major article on Ukraine’s reconstruction.

Foresight is a respected magazine covering politics, economic issues, and international affairs, with a readership that includes business leaders, academics, and policymakers across Japan.

In its in-depth report on Ukraine’s recovery, the publication dedicated a separate section to housing and mortgage strategy. The article highlights the role of UFHC and the eOselia program as a key mechanism for ensuring affordable mortgage access during wartime.

“The private housing sector has suffered the greatest damage in this war. Housing construction is closely linked to employment and tax revenues and plays a crucial role in economic revitalization,” the magazine quotes Serhii Liubenko, Head of International Cooperation Attraction at UFHC.

The journalists also noted the fully digital application process via the Diia government platform and the speed of preliminary approval — “approximately 3.5 seconds.”

Ukraine’s reconstruction is already part of the global conversation.
