During the Ukraine Recovery Conference 2026 (URC 2026), the Ukrainian Financial Housing Company (UFHC) and FIABCI-Ukraine signed a Memorandum of Cooperation aimed at strengthening international partnership in the fields of housing finance, housing sector recovery, and the implementation of international best practices.
The Memorandum was signed by Ievgen Metsger, Chairman of the Management Board of the Ukrainian Financial Housing Company, and Alissa Bankovska, President of FIABCI-Ukraine.
The Memorandum provides for cooperation in studying and implementing international experience in housing finance, promoting energy-efficient and sustainable housing, exchanging professional expertise, and strengthening cooperation with the international professional community to support the recovery of Ukraine’s housing sector.
For UFHC, the partnership with FIABCI-Ukraine creates additional opportunities to cooperate with an international network of experts, developers, investors, and financial institutions, facilitating the adoption of international best practices and the development of new partnerships necessary for building a modern housing finance system in Ukraine.
We are convinced that the effective recovery of Ukraine’s housing sector requires a combination of sound public policy, private investment, international experience, and professional expertise. This partnership with FIABCI-Ukraine is intended to contribute to that objective.
Background: FIABCI-Ukraine is the Ukrainian chapter of the International Real Estate Federation (FIABCI), one of the world’s leading professional organisations in the real estate sector. FIABCI-Ukraine brings together representatives of Ukraine’s development, financial, architectural, and professional communities, promotes the implementation of international standards and best practices, and connects Ukrainian market participants with FIABCI’s global network, which is represented in more than 60 countries worldwide.
