First Vice Prime Minister of Ukraine and Chairman of Management Board at UFHC discussed ‘yeOselia’ opportunities with developers of Dnipropetrivsk region

The meeting with representatives of the region’s business and construction industry took place in Dnipro. At the same time, the Cabinet of Ministers adopted amendments to the Resolution regulating the work of ‘yeOselia’, opening up new opportunities for both citizens and developers. Dnipropetrovsk region’s business is ready to join the scaling up of ‘yeOselia’ to make the region even more attractive for citizens, including internally displaced persons.

During the meeting, Yuliia Svyrydenko noted that the construction industry in Dnipropetrovsk region has significant potential for development. “There is a demand for housing among the population of the region. Builders can satisfy it, particularly by participating in the state affordable mortgage program, ‘yeOselia’. Together we can offer people favorable conditions for purchasing housing. Furthermore, this will give an additional boost to the development of the industry,” First Deputy Prime Minister said.

In his turn, Ievgen Metsger, Chairman of Management Board at UFHC, said that ‘yeOselia’ is in great demand in the region. “Today, 219 families in Dnipropetrovsk oblast have already received housing under the program for the amount of UAH 292 million. In 2024, the government plans to scale up the program. We urge developers all over Ukraine not to miss this opportunity and join the program to have real buyers for their apartments and develop despite the war today,” he said. Metsger also added that ‘yeOselia’ could become a mechanism to increase the attractiveness of the region for people who were forced to leave their homes because of the war and are looking for a new place to live. “You will be able to create unique conditions for representatives of certain professions with local authorities under separate partnership programs, for example, compensation of part of the down payment or interest. This will allow us to bring to the region representatives of the professions needed by the region and strengthen the economic potential of Dnipropetrovs’k region,” he commented.

We remind you that the state program ‘yeOselia’ implies that all Ukrainians who do not have their own housing or want to improve their living conditions can get an affordable mortgage at 7% per year. For contract servicemen of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and law enforcement officers, teachers, doctors and scientists, the interest rate is 3% per year.
