Ievgen Metsger and his team held a meeting with Kristina Mikulova, Head of Regional Hub for Eastern Europe of the European Investment Bank (EIB).
During the meeting, the Head of UFHC presented the approved Development Strategy of the company, developed in cooperation with the World Bank and the International Monetary Fund. The document defines the company’s further steps regarding the development of the mortgage market, improvement of affordable housing programs, and the implementation of new financial instruments to provide housing for Ukrainian citizens.
Special attention was paid to the preparation of project proposals in the field of creating social housing for vulnerable groups of the population. The meeting participants discussed opportunities for implementing such projects in partnership with the EIB, which will make it possible to expand citizens’ access to safe and high-quality housing, as well as contribute to the restoration of Ukraine’s housing infrastructure.
UFHC continues to expand international cooperation to implement strategic programs and attract additional resources for the development of the housing sector in Ukraine.
