In 2024, ‘yeOselia’ plans to significantly increase the share of clients in the primary housing market and open up more opportunities for partner banks. This was discussed yesterday, on January 16, during a roundtable organized by the Independent Association of Banks together with UFHC.
The event was attended by representatives of the company’s top management: Ievgen Metsger, Chairman of Management Board, Alla Komisarenko, Member of Management Board, Andriy Tarasenko, Head of the Department for Development of Partnership Projects and Alternative Products, and Vitaliy Khlopetsky, Director of the Department for Loan and Leasing Operations. “The past year has shown that we have the ability to develop ‘yeOselia’ and adapt it to the requirements of the market and customers. We attracted additional financing, despite the difficulties, and sold a loan portfolio that is only 60 million less than the volume of all mortgage lending in Ukraine in the pre-war most successful year of 2021,” said the Chairman of the Board. He also added that in 2024, ‘yeOselia’ plans to issue about 12 thousand loans. “Our task is to expand the terms and conditions of the program, and we have already done so. The latest amendments to the Resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers № 856 will come into force in 10 days. It is necessary to increase the choice of housing, especially in the primary market, so that the program works more for the economic recovery of the country,” added Ievgen Metsger. According to Andriy Tarasenko, banks have already accredited 55 apartment buildings from 18 developers under ‘yeOselia’. “Our priority is the primary market. New modern housing is in demand among citizens today, and our task is to meet this demand. Therefore, we urge banks that have already joined the program and banks that are considering joining the program to shift their lending focus to the primary market,” he emphasized.
Volodymyr Mudryi, Chairman of the Council of the Independent Association of Banks of Ukraine, emphasized the relevance and importance of the ongoing dialogue between UFHC and the banking environment to improve mortgage lending. He noted: “We know that UFHC fruitfully cooperates with domestic banks by involving them in its programs, and, along with domestic banks, strives to continuously develop and improve the services provided to its clients.”
Representatives of banks, in turn, emphasized the importance of stable financing of ‘yeOselia’ and ensuring the continuity of its work. In total, 35 representatives of Ukrainian banks took part in the roundtable.
