From now on, UFHC will adopt the practice of other countries in the European mortgage industry and share its experience in creating the innovative digitalized mortgage program ‘yeOselia’.
The European Mortgage Federation (EMF) represents the interests of mortgage lenders at the European level and accumulates information on European mortgage markets. As of April 2024, the Federation has 13 full members from 11 EU member states, as well as several observer members. From now on, the team of UFHC has joined them and will represent Ukraine in the EMF.
Ievgen Metsger, Chairman of Management Board at UFHC, emphasized the importance of this status for the company.
“Together with the Ministry of Economy and the Ministry of Digital Transformation, UFHC has created a truly revolutionary product for the Ukrainian banking and financial system – a digitalized affordable mortgage program ‘yeOselia’. We do not plan to stop at the achieved results. I am confident that our partnership with the European Mortgage Federation will be beneficial for both parties. We are grateful to our partners for their support and trust,” – he said.
Luca Bertalot, Secretary General of the European Mortgage Federation, congratulated UFHC on this event.
“We are pleased to welcome Ukrainian Financial Housing Company to the European Mortgage Federation family as an observer member. We are all aware of the extremely difficult circumstances that Ukraine is currently facing, especially in the frontline regions. Thus, first of all, we are glad to offer our moral and intellectual support in these difficult times. The European Mortgage Federation is also ready to support UFHC in its mission to provide all citizens with access to housing, which will be a key factor in creating a post-war environment.”
