This was emphasized by Chairman of Management Board at UFHC in his speech at RECOVERY CONSTRUCTION FORUM 3.0. The event was held as part of the international exhibition and conference ReBuild Ukraine, which took place on November 13-14 in Warsaw, Poland.
The event was attended by representatives of the Ukrainian and European construction industry, government officials from Ukraine and other EU countries.
Within the framework of RECOVERY CONSTRUCTION FORUM 3.0, Chairman of Management Board at UFHC, took part in the discussion panel “Rebuilding Ukraine Now: New Challenges, Priorities and Sources of Funding”, where he presented the results of the two-year operation of the yeOselia affordable mortgage programme.
Ievgen Metsger highlighted that in two years of operation in a wartime the programme has already yielded more results than the mortgage market showed in 2021:
“As of today, more than 14 thousand families have benefited from yeOselia, and the amount of loans issued is already approaching UAH 23 billion. More than 8.5 thousand children have received a roof over their heads thanks to yeOselia, and a total of 848 thousand square meters have been lent. However, we see yeOselia not only as a social programme aimed at helping as many Ukrainians as possible to own a home. We see the programme as a tool for rebuilding our country, which has a multiplier effect on the economy, a tool that can become a driver in real estate construction and encourage Ukrainians to return and build their lives in Ukraine,” said Ievgen Metsger.
Therefore, Chairman of Management Board drew attention to the fact that UFHC aims to attract resources for the programme implementation not only in the national but also in the international market.
We remind you that RECOVERY CONSTRUCTION FORUM is a platform for further communication between the construction industries of the partner countries to accelerate the reconstruction of Ukraine.
