‘yeOselia’ has already revolutionized mortgage market and made long and often corrupt queues for affordable housing a thing of the past. Together with the government, UFHC is constantly working to expand the program’s capabilities. In the future, ‘yeOselia’ will be able to become a tool for purchasing the first home for young people to motivate them to build their lives and future in Ukraine. This was announced by Ievgen Metsger, Chairman of Management Board at UFHC, today, March 15, during a meeting with students of Kyiv National Economic University named after Vadym Hetman.
The head of the company told the young people about how the ‘yeOselia’ product was created and what makes it unique. “This is the first mortgage in a smartphone. We have revolutionized the financial and banking services market and set a high bar for convenience, openness, and transparency in the process of obtaining a mortgage,” he said. Metsger also added that the program is not going to stop in its development. “Over the past year and a half, ‘yeOselia’ has already undergone many changes – we have opened up the opportunity to buy private houses and are activating the primary market. The program should work for the economy. I think each of you – the future economic elite of the country – knows that there is no industry with a higher positive multiplier than construction. So the global goal of the program, in addition to the social one, is to help Ukraine recover. We are not waiting till the end of the war, but are moving in this direction today,” summarized Chairman of Management Board. Each student had the opportunity to test how the program works and submit a real application for a mortgage in Diia.
In addition, Ievgen Metsger invited the participants to create a new digital product and fantasize about its main characteristics. The students generated interesting ideas and discussed the prospects for implementing a rental housing program with the right to buy. According to the audience, such a product would be very relevant for those who want to buy their own home even without significant savings.
