Overall, since the program’s launch, 12,058 families have already taken advantage of the opportunity to purchase their own housing through ‘yeOselia’, with the total amount of loans issued exceeding UAH 19.2 billion.
In 2024, almost all mortgage transactions were concluded under the ‘yeOselia’ program, and there was almost no mortgage lending outside the program, according to the NBU’s financial stability report for the first half of 2024.
As of June 2024, more than 10,000 loans worth almost UAH 17 billion have been issued under the program. “This is almost half of the loans issued over the past five years. The pace of lending under the program is steady: in five months of 2024, almost as many loans were granted as in the second half of last year. Two-thirds of ‘yeOselia’ loans continue to be granted at a 3% interest rate to certain categories of clients: primarily military personnel and law enforcement officers,”- says the report.
“‘yeOselia’ has become not only the most successful mortgage program in the Ukrainian market, but also creates a competitive environment for banks that compete for customers. ‘yeOselia’ encourages banks to develop, digitalize and optimize their decision-making process to become a partner of the program,” said Yevgen Metzger, Chairman of the Management Board.
Thus, last week, 170 loans were issued for UAH 296 million.
The beneficiaries of the program became 82 families of contract servicemen of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and security forces, 44 Ukrainians without their own housing, 21 doctors, 11 teachers, 6 IDPs, 3 veterans and 3 scientists.
Last week, 45 families chose “first sale” housing, including 10 apartments in houses under construction. The list of all accredited objects under construction that are available through ‘yeOselia’ is available at https://ukrfinzhytlo.in.ua/mapp/.
‘yeOselia’ is being implemented by the Ministry of Economy in cooperation with the Ministry of Digital Transformation and UFHC.
