This was emphasized by Chairman of Management Board at UFHC during his speech at the Real Estate Forum.
Ievgen Metsger highlighted that yeOselia’s share in the Ukrainian mortgage market is about 98%.
“We are a social programme that provides opportunities for people to buy housing. But at the same time, we are forming a mortgage market that is adaptive and compliant with the law and international requirements. yeOselia is also a kind of financial instrument for developers to work and grow during the war. In general, when we model the further development of the programme, we imagine ourselves as a client who not only received a decision from the bank in a few minutes through Diia but also had the opportunity to choose an apartment and finalize the deal just as quickly” – said Ievgen Metsger.
As of today, some developers have 50-70% of their sales through yeOselia, according to their data. Therefore, we urge developers to join the programme and get accredited with partner banks. To do this, they need to adapt to the requirements of the current legislation, become more transparent and pay taxes in full.
Starting from 4 November, a new stage of the programme’s development will begin: changes to the age of housing suitable for purchase under yeOselia will encourage Ukrainians to pay more attention to new housing from developers when choosing. And we, in turn, will make efforts to expand the choice of such housing across the country.
The abovementioned forum was a platform for discussing development opportunities, prospects and potential risks. It was attended by developers, investors, real estate professionals and others.
