‘yeOselia’ will help attract active population to the regions and increase local budget revenues – Ievgen Metsger at the Regional Economic Forum

‘yeOselia’ opens up great partnership opportunities for the regions. The benefits of the program will help local communities to boost construction and related industries, increase budget revenues and attract representatives of important professions. This was stated by Ievgen Metsger, Chairman of Management Board at UFHC, during his speech at the Regional Economic Forum. The event was held today, on September 22, in Kyiv with the participation of Prime Minister of Ukraine Denys Shmyhal and First Vice Prime Minister and Minister of Economy of Ukraine Yuliia Svyrydenko.

During the panel discussion on the working grant and loan programs of the government, Chairman of Management Board at UFHC described the main advantages and results of ‘yeOselia’. According to him, the program currently has no problems with financing and has already issued loans for the purchase of own housing worth almost UAH 5 billion. “Today, regions can benefit from our advantages. There are many partnership formats – both with us and with banks. This includes compensation of part of the interest to certain categories of citizens and compensation of the loan principal,” Metsger said. He also added that three local administrations – Chernivtsi, Zakarpattia and Mykolaiv – have already joined the partnership with ‘yeOselia’. “We provide many opportunities: it is the revitalization of the construction market in your region, and the development of related industries, which means more taxes, more jobs. You can also develop a format for attracting certain professions to your communities by offering special compensation conditions for them,” summarized Chairman of Management Board.

We remind you that since October 1, 2022, 3,412 loans have been issued under ‘yeOselia’ program. Most of the borrowers are servicemen and law enforcement officers who received a housing loan at 3%. Since August 1 this year, the categories of borrowers have expanded significantly. A total of 143 borrowers, including veterans, IDPs and people without their own housing, have already gotten a mortgage loan at 7%. You can apply for the program in the Diia app.
